February vacation without an actual vacation? This list has you covered! Things to do, places to go and a few day camps to occupy everyone all week long!

 

 

 

Day Camps & Activities

Many of these camps still have spots open or offer a waitlist. They also have programs running for April and registration is now open.

 

Footprints Yoga/ High Five Hand Skills

Willard St, Quincy

These wonderful ladies are hosting a camp for all ages. Grades K- 4 will take place from 9am-3pm and include games, crafts, yoga and more, $60 per child. 5th-8th graders will take place from 5pm-9pm and include dinner yoga, meditation, mindfulness crafts and more, $50 per child. RSVP to [email protected]

 

Milton Public Schools Vacation Camp

Colicott/Cunningham & Tucker Schools

Arts & Crafts, Gym Games, Survivor Challenges, Sports, Special Projects, STEM, Drama workshop, Special guests, Science Show and more. $160 per student for 4 full days, 8:30-3:30. Extended day and early arrival options available for an additional cost.

 

Arcade Mania with Shelia Hume Sacco

Mel O’Drama 

Wollaston Congregational Church, Quincy

Students a ges 7-14will work on 4 songs from various Broadway shows along with scenes from these shows & will then present a showcase to family on the final day of camp. $320 for a full week.

 

Dedham Health Vacation Camp

200 Providence Highway, Dedham

Daily enrollment for kids ages 5-12. Activies include laser tag, treehouse, rock climbing, sports, free swim & more! Lunch & Snacks are included and extended hours are available. Members $125 per day, Non Members $150 per day.

 

 

Brodericks Gym

Various Locations

Offers a half day or full day camp Mon- Fri of vacation week for gymnastics, games and open gym time. Half day $35 members/ $45 non members and full day prices are $55 members/ $70 non members.

 

February Vacation Days 

Museum of American Bird Art, 963 Washington St Canton

Each day immerses children in nature and art through stories, games, hikes, and explorations of different art mediums. Each day will have a fun and different theme! Extended day options are available. Camp is $260 for members/ $300 for non members or $80 per day.

 

Blue Hills Skiing & Snowboarding Camp

4001 Washington St, Canton

5 day program available for kids 7-15 years old. BYO lunch or eat in their affordable cafeteria. Skiing OR Snowboarding lessons available, as well as rentals. Click here for pricing and package information.

 

Trailside Museum February Vacation Days Camp

1904 Canton Ave, Milton

*Note some days are waitlist only.

Available for grades Kindergarten- 4, kids can learn about wildlife in the Winter! Members $55, Nonmembers $70 per day. Click here for availabilty and pricing. Note, there is no “Nature Time” programming during February vacation week.

Boston Nature Center

500 Walk Hill St, Boston

Offering February Vacation camps for kids 5-9 and for older ages 10-14. Join them for some fun outside and explore the winter landscape, learning about plants an animals. $375 for members/ $450 for non members.

Franklin Park Zoo

1 Franklin Park Rd, Boston

Explore animals every day at the zoo with games, experiments and up close encounters at the Franklin Park Zoo. Vacation fun takes place Tues- Friday 9am-4pm. If you haven’t been to this mama owned studio, you are missing out…These ladies know how to have fun! Playgroup, yoga, pop up art classes and more (including classes for YOU and parenting workshops too). Join the fun in during February break!

 

Toddler Town, Marina Bay

Enjoy this fun AND CLEAN indoor playground. Open every day during the week. $8

 

Children’s World,  Canton

Open play every day during vacation including the weekend! Coffee and wifi for parents 🙂

 

Ellis Gym, Braintree

Check their schedule for play gym time and burn off some energy by sliding into the foam pit, or jumping off the trampoline. Fun for ALL ages.

Open Alleys at Rons Gourmet Ice Cream & Bowling, Hyde Park

Step back in time and test your bowling skills! Go for lunch, they have lots of yummy options. And you seriously cannot pass up their AMAZING ice cream.

 

Special Events at Jam Time, various locations

Join the fun of their President’s Day Party or a visitors from special guests all week. Guests vary by location. But Beauty will be visiting Norwood 🙂

 

Sky Zone, Boston

Jump, jump and jump some more- fun for kids both big and little!. Open extended hours for February vacation and keep an eye out for special, themed toddler times!

 

Altitude, Avon

More jumping fun! Rock wall, Basketball, special kids area and more. Open jumping hours available all week.

 

Ships Ahoy Indoor Water Park, Norwood

Enjoy some indoor water play at this amazing indoor water park at Rama Athletic Club. Open to the public, $10 per child. 

 

Kids Fun Stop, West Roxbury

Let the kids jump around at this well loved indoor play gym. Open all week during February Vacation

Dinner & A Movie at Novara

Make a reservation for dinner & a movie with the kids. Novara does such a great job at taking care of the kiddos during vacation, and honoring their own history!

Tuesday, 3pm: Aladdin, featuring a special visit from Princess Jasmine

Stuffed Animal Sleepover 

Milton Library, 476 Canton Ave

February 18th- 19th

Bring your stuffed animal to the library on Tuesday afternoon and they will spend a fun-filled night in the library! You can come back and pick them up on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 pm, when you can learn about all of the adventures that Miss Sara and the stuffed animals had together! Ages 4+

 

Acrobatics

Lower Mills Branch of the Boston Public Library, 27 Richmond St, Dorchester

February 19th, 2:30pm

Enjoy this spectacular one-woman acrobatic performance with Li Liu. Learn about the history of acrobatics in China as Li performs hand balances, plate spinning, ribbon dancing, diabolos, and foot juggling. Ages 6-12.

 

 

Fun at Patriot Place

Storytime at Showcase Cinemas, Tuesday 11am

Enjoy a story on the big screen plus a visit from a special guest. Food is also available for purchase at a discount. These are so much fun!!

 

STEM with the Children’s Museum of Easton, Wednesday 11am-1pm

Let your kiddos explore with STEM. This week they can make Snowball Launchers, Paper Helicopters, and Scary Monster Puppets

February Vacation Week at Derby St Shops
