Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I grew up on the South Shore. I currently live in Canton and have been there for 9 years.

I have two girls, Nora (4) and Lillian (3).
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
- I disliked school as a child but became an elementary teacher.
- Random, but I have had 19 teeth pulled.
- My husband is an airline pilot and I don’t like flying.
What is your favorite thing about living in the area?
I love that it is a quick drive to Cape Cod or Rye Beach in the summer. Also, the ability to hop on the train for date nights in Boston.
What is your favorite thing to do with your kids?
Arts and craft projects and being outside.
Anyone special you would like to thank for helping you through this journey of parenthood?
My husband! We are fortunate that his job allows him to be at home quite a bit during the week. I think we make a great team, and without him this journey of parenthood would be more challenging than it already is.

Recently I started a new creative endeavor from my home making sensory play dough kits. I’m a former 4thgrade teacher with a passion for creativity and child development. Sensory play has so many benefits like building fine motor skills, encouraging creativity, experimenting through independent play, taking risks, and having fun! How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I think this area has great moms who love to network and support each other. The Canton MOMs Club has been a great support system and a way to connect with other moms in town.
What is your go to meal for your family?
Chicken Kabobs with grilled vegetable or Chicken Curry.
What is the best piece of mom advice you ever received?
Take time for yourself! You can’t pour from an empty cup.
