SALT DOUGH ORNAMENTS!

Ingredients

1/2 cup salt

1 cup flour

1/2 cup water

You’ll also want: cookie cutters, paints, glitter, mod podge, a straw and some string.

Directions:

mix salt, flour and water together until dough forms. Roll out on a flat surface. Use cookie cutters to create fun shapes of your choice. Use a straw to poke a hole in the top- this is where you will put your string to hang!

Spread out evenly on a cookie sheet. Spray lightly with a cooking spray- this will keep their color and prevent from drying out.

Bake at 250 for 2-3 hours until completely dry. Let cool. Paint with acrylic paints, add glitter and other decorations. When dry, coat with mod lodge and let dry again- preferably over night. Tie with pretty ribbon and hang from tree or add as a gift tag to your gifts.
